PRESENTING COMPLAINTS
Fever since 2 days, cough since 2 days
CONDITION ON ADMISSION
Febrile, HR 119/min, RR 20/min, tachycardia, CNS NAD, flushing present
COURSE DURING ADMISSION
Child was admitted with fever and cough. IV fluids started. Initial investigations showed leucopenia and thrombocytopenia with raised HCT. Managed as per dengue protocol. Patient had abdominal pain and nausea. Condition improved gradually. Currently haemodynamically stable and oral intake improved. Discharged on request.

SPECIAL ADVICE
Follow up tomorrow in OPD. Allow soft diet. Drink plenty of water.
